It's just more than a year since their debut and they boys of B2ST were even surprised that they have come a long way now and had released 4 mini-albums in a short span of time. They were successful in every event that they engaged on and some members were also busy with individual projects like sitcoms, show hosting, song collaboration with other artists, etc.
Just recently they got their first Mutizen from the show SBS Inkigayo and also took home a KBS Music Bank and Mnet Countdown awards respectively during the promotion of Breathe (Soom) last October. They also received the Most Influential Artist Award in Asia Song Festival and a Photogenic Award from Korean Visual Arts Festival.
And what more, just a few days ago, they had a sold out showcase with 10,000 audience and more than 40 media people in attendance in Japan. And they haven't release their major album there yet. It seems like these boys popularity and achievements has really been growing more and more as time passes by.
Adding more to their triumphant exit to the year 2010, they received a Best New Comer Award from the Golden Disk Awards night on December 9. Golden Disk is a prestigious award-giving body that existed since1986 and has been one of the most sought after annual awards among artists in the Korean Music Industry.
B2ST, though on a tight schedule for preparation to their first-ever concert entitled "Beast Airlines" this coming Sunday, December 12, performed a special remixed version of their song Shock and Breathe (Soom) in the awards night. Fans have anticipated this performance since hearing that the boys were nominated.
Their company CUBE Entertainment CEO Hong Seung Sung also received the Best Producer Award.
Congratulations to our very hardworking B2ST and to our boss Mr. Hong. A well-deserved win for the year 2010.
