드림콘서트에서 멋진 무대를 펼쳤다.
5월28일 오후 서울 상암 월드컵경기장에서 '2011 드림콘서트'가 열렸다. 콘서트 전 '비스트의 무대에 응원을 하지 말자'는 비스트 '텐미닛' 제안이 온라인을 통해 확산되며 우려를 낳았지만 비스트는 신곡 '픽션'과 히트곡 '쇼크'로 열띤 무대를 선보였고 객석에서 커다란 함성을 전달받았다.
1995년의 시작 돼 올해 17번째로 펼쳐진 '드림콘서트'는 최정상급 스타 가수들의 열정을 한 자리에서 감상할 수 있는 대한민국 최대규모의 콘서트이다. 하지만 드림콘서트는 '텐미닛(10분 동안 한 그룹이나 가수의 응원을 하지 않고 공연장 전체를 침묵에 빠뜨리기)'현상 등을 빚으며 부정적 팬덤 문화를 양산시키기도 했다.
그러나 비스트가 무대에 오르자마자 객석에서는 일제히 환호가 일어났으며 7000여 명의 팬들이 전원 기립한채 응원을 진행하는 '반전'을 낳았다. 뿐만 아니라 샤이니 등 다른 가수의 팬들도 응원도구를 흔들며 예의를 갖추는 등 예년보다 성숙된 문화의식을 보였다.
한편 '2011 드림콘서트'에는 샤이니, 동방신기, 카라, 2PM, 쥬얼리, 레인보우, 시크릿 등이 출연해 관중들에게 즐거움을 선사했다.

'2011 Dream Concert' was held on May 28th at PM in Seoul Sangam World Cup Stadium. Before the concert, there were concerns about the rumor 'let's not support BEAST's stage', which was known as BEAST 'ten minute', that spread throughout the internet. But BEAST performed a hot stage with their new song 'Fiction' and hit song 'Shock' and received a big cheer from the audience.
'Dream Concert' started back in 1995 and this year's was the 17th concert. Dream Concert is a big concert where people can enjoy the passion of high class singers. But Dream Concert created negative relationship between fandoms due to 'ten minute' (not supporting a singer on stage for ten minutes, silencing the whole audience), etc.
However, when BEAST went on stage the audience all cheered as one. Also seven thousands of fans stood up from their seat and supported BEAST, which was a twist. On top of this, fans of Shinee and other singers also joined in the supporting, showing a matured cultural awareness.
On the other hand, Shinee, TVXQ, Kara, 2PM, Jewelry, Rainbow, Secret, etc performed in '2011 Dream Concert', providing joy to the audience.
