Gaon Chart releases chart rankings for the 1st week of February


The Gaon Chart is the national chart of South Korea and is intended to be the equivalent of Oriconin Japan and Billboard in the United States.

Cube Entertainment reveals its list of official fan sites from 24 different countries


Cube Entertainment has announced some very exciting news for its international fans!
On February 8th, the agency revealed that they’ve endowed ‘official fan site’ status to 46 global websites dedicated to their artists. These fan sites come from 24 different countries such as Chile, the United States, Russia, the Philippines, and more.
According to Cube,  4 minute will have 15 global fan sites, B2ST will have 21, and  G.na will open 10.
The agency reviewed over 150 fan sites for eight days, starting from January 17th. Officials examined reports submitted by each site regarding member activity and future management plans before deciding on a final list.
These official fan sites will help pave the way for Cube’s future plans to enter the global market, while simultaneously creating a closer relationship with their supporters from all over the world.

Yoseob transforms into a cowboy



Stick ‘em up! B2ST‘s Yang Yoseob is here to steal your heart and he won’t take no for an answer.

On February 8th, Yoseob shared this playful selca on Twitter and wrote,”Cowboy ‘Seob. Bang bang!”

Depending on which side of town you’re from, Yoseob the cowboy is either the good sheriff or the mischievous bandit. Either way, fans responded enthusiastically to this adorable dress-up photo.

Replies ranged from “I surrender! keke~” to ”You look really proud of yourself. How many hearts have you captured today?”

In related news, B2ST will now be heading to Berlin to continue their world tour, ‘Beautiful Show‘.

Cube Entertainment to release, ‘B2ST 2011 Encore Concert 3D’ movie



Last year, B2ST held a phenomenal concert called ‘Welcome Back to B2ST Airline’ in February of 2011 — an event that drew an audience of 24,000. Now fans will get to relive the concert all over again, but this time in the format of a 3D movie!

We’ve just been informed by Cube Entertainment that ‘B2ST 2011 Encore Concert 3D (Welcome Back To B2ST Airline)’ will be released in theaters all across Korea on February 23rd.

The movie will deliver never-before-seen rehearsal footage as well as backstage shots through 3D visuals and a spectacular sound quality. Of course, fans will get to relive performances of B2ST’s best hits, such as “Shock”, “Soom”, Beautiful”, and “Mystery”, as well as special unit duets.

Having reached #2 on the Oricon chart in Japan with the concert DVD alone, the film for ‘Welcome Back to B2ST Airline’ is also expected to gain a positive response within Korea.

In related news, B2ST has kicked off their world tour in Seoul, and will be heading to Berlin next for their ‘Beautiful Show in Berlin’ concert.

Junhyung to release a solo song



Prior to BEAST's first concert for their "Beautiful Show" world tour this coming February 4, BEAST's fierce rapper Junhyung will be revealing his first solo song this February 3 titled "I can live without you". 

BEAST already released their ballad "I Knew It" as a preparation for their concert and it already was an instant hit among fans. Just a day before their concert, On midnight February 3, Junhyung's song will be revealed and high expectations are already set for Junhyung's first time releasing a solo song.The song is entitled "Living without you"

A lot are to look forward to from BEAST this year and the member's are going to show their individual charms through their concert in Korea this coming 4th and 5th of February.

Junhyung to appear in Salamander Guru and the Gang



Junhyung will appear in  Salamander Guru and the Gang  with Shinee's Minho and Infinite's L. Junhyung will appear in the third episode of the sitcom. They did the taping at Hong Ja Eun Traditional House Museum-cum-Art Gallery.

Kahi and Kim Jung Tae to parody “Trouble Maker” in ‘Dream High 2′


With the premiere of ‘Dream High 2‘ being just a day away, production company Holrim and CJ E&Mhave released yet another photo teaser! This time, fans got to see After School‘s Kahi and actor  Kim Jung Taedancing to a cover of “Trouble Maker“ together.
As the instructor and president of Kirin Arts High School, Kahi and Kim Jung Tae showed off their talents while grooving to HyunA and Hyunseung‘s sexy song, “Trouble Maker“.
Netizens were quick to compliment Kahi’s sultry expressions, but laughed at Kim Jung Tae’s stiffness.
This scene is just one of many that fans are looking forward to. ‘Dream High 2′ will air its pilot on January 30th, so stay tuned to allkpop for updates!

BEAST at #1 of Thailand's Channel V "2011 Asian Music Top 50"




K-Pop is showing its global power once again, as it has completely dominated Thailand's Top 50 songs of the year for 2011!
Thailand's Channel V recently released their "2011 Asian Music Top 50," and results showed that out of the 50 total songs, an impressive 48 of them were Korean! From BEAST to JYJ, TVXQ, Super Junior, andSNSD, K-Pop stars dominated the charts. The only non-Korean acts on the ranking included Taiwanese starsJay Chou and Wang Leehom in 37th and 47th place. 
The top 10 saw a complete wipe out by male groups. First place was taken by BEAST's "Beautiful," followed by JYJ's "Ayy Girl" and TVXQ's "Keep Your Head Down." Kim Hyun Joong, Super Junior, 2PM, GD&TOP,and CN Blue followed. 
Girl groups also fared well, with SNSD dropping four songs in the top 24. T-ara's "Bo Peep Bo Peep" took 21st while 2NE1's "Ugly" took 25th. 
The group that had the most songs rank in was none other than Big Bang. Big Bang's "Tonight" (16th), "Love Song" (29th), GD&TOP's "High High" (7th), "Baby Good Night" (13th), "Knock Out" (42nd), Seungri's "VVIP" (32nd), and finally Taeyang's "Wedding Dress" (34th) rounded out the rankings.

Fans melt at the sight of baby Yoseob



Yoseob shared a new baby photo with his fans.
The singer posted the above photo via his Twitter page on the 30th and wrote, “Yoseob eating ricecakes.”
The photo was taken when Yoseob turned a year old back on January 5th, 1991, and fans were glad that he was open enough to share personal photos with them.
They wrote, “Such an old picture. Cute!”, “I want to eat ricecakes with you“, “Please share more childhood photos“, and more.
Meanwhile, Yoseob and the rest of the B2ST members released their new song “I Knew It” on January 26th just in time for their World Tour and are currently sweeping the music charts online.
Looks like some things haven’t changed, back then he was a cute baby and some 20 years later fans still call him cute baby.

Yoseob designs a special towel for fans



B2ST is preparing for their upcoming World Tour, and they have prepared a little surprise for their fans.

The boys will kick off the tour with their first performance at the Olympic Hall Gymnastic Stadium on February 4th, and they want to make sure each performance is special and a unique experience for the fans.

Yoseob personally designed a unique towel, and 100 towels will be distributed to the fans. On it, he drew some cartoon figures and wrote, ‘BEAUTY (B2ST fan club) is the best’.

A B2ST representative informed StarNews on the 30th, “The towels were Yoseob’s idea, and he wants to surprise the fans with a unique gift. The drawings aren’t perfect, but they will serve as a nice gift to give out at the performances.”

Fellow member Son Dongwoon also previously captured the hearts of his fans with his own ‘fan service’. Over the summer, he put stickers on his fans and offered them a cold drink, while in the winter, he passed out heat packs to keep them warm.

B2ST will be traveling to Asia, Europe, and more for their World Tour, and they will also be performing their song “I Knew It” for the very first time. The other songs will be released one at a time as digital singles.

The boys are currently climbing the music charts with their songs, however, they do not have any plans to perform on public TV anytime soon.
