BEAST's history and trainee days as a "Recycled Group" to be revealed





Six member boy group BEAST debuted in October of 2009, with their debut album, "Beast Is The B2ST," selling over 20,000 copies in the month of October alone. Under Cube Entertainment, the members of BEAST have grown quite substantially. Many of the members of BEAST did not have an easy journey to get to where they are now.

On the August 26th episode of SBS E! TV's "Son Ho Young's K-Star News," the trainee days of the "Recycled Group" BEAST are set to be revealed. The past histories of the BEAST members who suffered a long time to be called a member of BEAST will be put in the spotlight.

In the past, Jang Hyunseung was set to become a member of idol group Big Bang, until he was eliminated in the final stages before the group's debut. There is also the unfortunate history of leader Yoon Doojoon, who was trained in JYP Entertainment, but did not become a member of 2PM or 2AM.

Additionally, Yong Junhyung was previously a member of the group "Xing." In "Xing," Junhyung was known as "Poppin' Dragon." Lee Kikwang previously debuted as a solo artist under the stage name AJ. A couple of the other BEAST members even participated as back up dancers for AJ during his solo activities and promotions, before BEAST's official debut in October of 2009.

Because of their history, BEAST is called the "Recycled Group." However, the members of BEAST are receiving an immense amount of love from fans at home and also fans from abroad. The members have also gained popularity do to their various MC positions and acting roles.
