Junhyung was ranked 2nd in Pops in Seoul's 5 Idol Stars who made a successful transformation as a successful composer.
In his close to three years of career both as a Xing member & BEAST, Junhyung has been composing songs and has collaborated with the likes of Wheesung, Kim Wan Sun, Hyuna. In most of these songs, he was the one who composed the rapping part or the song itself.
He composed and produced a song for BEAST's album Lights Go On Again, the song "Freeze".
